NEWS: Revenir welcomes two new members!

Over the weekend you may of heard the news that Revenir have welcomed two new members to the band! Dan Bui on Bass and Gareth Shihadeh on lead guitar.

NEWS: Revenir album set for release THIS WEEK!

ITS ON IT’S WAY! ‘Exiled from Bear Country’ the debut album from REVENIR is set for digital release THIS WEEK! The album will be available world wide, and will include the following tracks (not necessarily in this order):

Any band, big or small, needs it’s fans to help keep it afloat.  Some bands get blessed with some of the best fans, who will do anything within their power to help that band out.  Revenir  is one of those lucky bands.  So this post is dedicated to ALL of you wonderful Revenir fans! Even if you didn’t send in a picture, we’re still thanking you on behalf of the band, and fellow fans(us) for everything you’ve done.

Behind the song: Blinded Sight

We’re starting a new feature, where you can find out the meanings behind the songs! First up is Blinded Sight. Huge thanks to Keith for explaining:

Blinded Sight is about my tumultuous relationship I had with a group of friends. I’d frequent parties and get cataclysmically drunk on wine and just more or less be an amplified version of myself. So after keeping up this trend for a while, I decided to go to the party and just keep it relatively sober, which was met with a collective disappointment in me not getting drunk, AKA being an inebriated clown.

Get involved! (a note about a future post)

Revenir have some pretty awesome fans, and we want to thank you all for being as great as you are! How are we planning to do this? Well we want to dedicate a future post to you guys.

”But how will you dedicate it?” I hear you ask.

That’s simple, we’re going to make a post full of your beautiful faces!

We’ve noticed some of you have taken a shine to Matt’s latest Twitter icon, and a few people have made up their own versions.  That’s inspired this future post. So how can you get involved?

Easy peasy:  Take a photo of you with a sign that says Revenir .It doesn’t have to be a copy of Matt’s sticker over the mouth picture. You could make your own sign and hold it up by your face, or write it on your hand, any way you want to! (Just no nudity please!) Tweet your images to the UK street team by FRIDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER! All images will be included in a future blog post, which will be 100% dedicated TO YOU!

Street Team Gear IMPORTANT UPDATE!

There is still gear available, to get some send a DM to @RevenirStTeam or @RevenirStTeamUK on Twitter. HOWEVER If you are outside of the USA please be patient, there seems to be a hold up with the postal service getting the gear to the UK.(and it’s just come to my attention SOME PARTS OF AMERICA have not received their packages either ) WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOU! I repeat we HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOU! This is totally out of our control.  Until the gear arrives in England,  I can’t start sending it out. The American side of the street team HAVE been posting packages out to America for the past few weeks though! The postal service is totally out of our control, hopefully they turn up soon! Both street teams(USA and UK) thank you all for your patience, whilst we try find a solution.

Fragile Mind, now live on the bands sound cloud!

Another track has been uploaded to the bands sound cloud in FULL! Ever since I heard Fragile Mind a few weeks back, I’ve been super excited for you all to get to hear it as well. Shouldn’t really have a favorite, but I do, and it’s this track.

STREET TEAM GEAR: Wristbands!

Wristbands have been delivered to the American Street team (@RevenirStTeam) and the UK (@RevenirStTeamUK)will soon have 100 of these beautiful Revenir wristbands to send out! These wristbands are 10 per person, and limited for now. So Dm @RevenirStTeam if you’re USA based, or @RevenirStTeamUK if you’re UK based. (Or either of us if you’re based in a different country)

Notes about future blog posts:

We need your help for future blog posts! See the list below for ways you can get involved. (We’ve tweeted some of these already, but the dreaded character limit keeps cutting our info up.)

• Messages to the band: Do you have a message for the band as a whole, or an individual member, but it’s too long for just one tweet and you’re worried about the parts getting lost in a sea of tweets? Submit messages to us via a DM and we’ll put them up in a future post. Do you have an opinion on one or all of the album teasers? Tweet us what you’re thinking and we will include these as well!
• Fan art: Have you created a poster/flyer/logo ect for the band? Maybe you’ve drawn the guys themselves? We would love to put them up on our fan art page, just tweet us the pictures.
• Street team gear pictures: Have you received your street team gear and started putting it up and around? Tweet us photos of your gear in action for use in a future street team gear post.
• Photos of the band: are you lucky enough to have photos of the band? tweet them to us for use on the blog!

Credit will be given to the photographers/image owners for all images used. Twitter handles will be included on messages for the band UNLESS you specifically ask us not to.
